The major events organised at the Public Engagement Stage include:
- Road Shows (eight sessions from May to October 2009)
- Public Forums (five sessions from May to November 2009)
- Topical Discussions (eight sessions from May to October 2009)
Road Shows

Provide information on the key issues on URS Review as identified by the community at the Envisioning Stage. |

Introduce Hong Kong's current policy on urban renewal; the relevant experience of other Asian cities and the possible options on urban renewal. |

Invite public views on the urban regeneration issues and the possible options. |

Collect public views on the URS Review through surveys and face-to-face interviews. |

Visitors are welcome to express their views on the URS Review through video recording. Relevant recordings may be uploaded onto the URS Review Website. In addition, visitors may fill in the opinion forms and take part in the face-to-face interviews conducted by the organiser. |

Representatives from the organiser will also attend the road shows to solicit the public views on the URS Review directly. |

Public Forums

Present the key issues identified by the community at the Envisioning Stage and the urban regeneration experience of other Asian cities. |

Collect public views on urban regeneration through interactive discussion. |

There will be five Public Forums in total, each accommodating around 200 persons, members of the public are welcome to participate the Public Forums. |
 |
The first four Public Forums will be held in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon East, Kowloon West and Tsuen Wan. The last Public Forum will be a summary session which tentatively will be held in Hong Kong Island. |

- Open forum – Public comments and discussions are welcome
