Urban renewal projects may become more efficient if leading by private developers. However, government should maintian a very close monitoring on cost and progress, everything should keep transparent to the public.

There are many precious buildings or spots in Hong Kong, we should find ways to protect these distinguishing features. With higher concern on cultual preservation, the renewal project should consider opinion from relevant parties.

During the preserve of historical sites, we should also keep the social relationship of the sites, not only keeping the exterior face, but the interior is new. Just like the old Woo Cheong Pawn Shop, why you need to change it to be a restaurant? Why don't you keep the original use of those buildings? That's lowered the historical value already!
